The allotment on 6th February 2008

6th February 2008...The rather tattered winter crops — purple-sprouting broccoli, kale and everlasting spinach (you can't see the lamb's lettuce and land cress) — are hanging iun there, while the Japanese onions are growing apace. I am burning what is left of the immense heap of rotten wood, no doubt adding considerably to my carbon footprint. Ho hum.
