Lenore...at large in North America

I have decided to record this journey as a diary. I have never succeeded in keeping a daily diary for more than a few weeks, so I am publicly proclaiming my intentions in hopes that I shall be forced to write daily for fear of embarrassment. Not a particularly positive motivator, but one which just might work for me!

I know that a daily diary may restrict my ability to make wider observations about our trip, but at this time I imagine that in the future we will remember the highlights and overall experiences of our time driving around North America, and that our daily activities will be forgotten. I hope that this log will serve as a reminder of the everyday aspects of our adventure.
