More rain

We intended to move on and head north of the dunes in search
of tide pools. The sky was grey again, and when I returned from my shower
I found Ralph desperately trying to empty the tent so he could take it
down before it got wet. We had a quick conversation, and agreed to spend
one more day where we were. I spent the day doing chores: I cleaned the
cooler (ugh!) and wrote letters. Ralph plugged in and reviewed and catalogued
the video tapes.
Another camper was kind enough to give us his firewood, so we were able
to spend the cool damp evening before a fire. We had to move the table
and re-arrange the tarp so that we could sit out of the rain but in the
warmth. We've run out of fresh veggies and bread.
