New Brunswick

Week 20

from the Gaspé to Moncton, and along the Bay of Fundy

1384 km

We had not planned to spend so much time in New Brunswick, in fact, we had thought the province would be boring! The only bore was the bore.... I did get tired of the eastern coastline, but I think that was mostly the result of being on the move constantly. So we settled down in Fundy National Park and spent a few days playing and experiencing the area.

We visited Magnetic Hill, the "third most visited natural site in Canada" much to Ralph's interest and chagrin. We kayaked, rode trains, hiked, wandered the shores, and drove through Acadia. I collected pebbles in a rainbow array of colors and patterns.

Gateway to week 20:
Day 134: Road construction
Day 135: Acadia
Day 136: BORE-ing
Day 137: Magnetics and capes
Day 138: Fresh vegetables, please
Day 139: Rapids!
Day 140: Avoiding crowds
