I know I'm a peculiar whatsit, but I'm obsessed by old windows and doors, and especially blocked windows and doors. Partly an archaeological interest, partly an interest in disuse and change, partly curiosity about what each gap in the wall has witnessed and what has passed through it in the distant past. Here's a simple square window, or perhaps opening would be a better word, in a Peak District barn.
So peculiar am I that there's actually a collection of windows and doors on this site! If you share my interest, then go there... Otherwise...
