I've always been attracted to fungi and flowerless plants, and over the years have photographed a few, the results dependent on the sophistication of the camera I possessed at the time. Vancouver Island, being on the west coast of Canada and blessed with significant rainfall, is an ideal habitat for fungi, lichen, liverworts and mosses.

I don't identify my collection; I can't. Perhaps one day I shall acquire enough knowledge to identify some of my specimens, but in the meantime I tend to admire them and leave them in situ. I think they are rather beautiful.
